what is soulbonding?

Soulbonding is a spiritual occurrence where a character from fiction essentially bonds to a person.
Soulbonds are souls from another universe or plane of existence that "latch on" to their Host.
That other plane of existence is usually the universe of a fictional show or place, but it can be a universe the host created as well.
The soul usually already has a form, identity, vocality, etc. because they already developed those things in their own universe. In other words, soulbonds are like walk-ins.
The term was coined by Amanda Flowers of the Just For Writers Mailing List.

what are soulbonds?

A soulbond is any kind of mental or sometimes spiritual connection with a person from another realm/place/ect. Soulbonds oftentimes resemble fictional characters because they are the non-fictional counterparts from another part of existence separate from our own.The person from this world/place/ect is known as the soulbonder and the person from the other place is known as the soulbond.https://soulbondinghelp.tumblr.com/whataresoulbondsAnother explanation of soulbonds can be found after pressing the [what termonologies should I know?] button on the home page!

what terminologies should i know?

Anaspect
Anaspect is a term much like introject, that is made for plural people who are spiritual in their plurality and wish to not use the term introject due to discomfort with the term or perhaps just looking to put a more specific label on their introjection.
[Other forms anaspected (v., adj.) anaspection (v., n.)]
Addiobond
Addiobond is a term that refers to a non-existent cannon fictive, meaning the soulbond, despite being in the universe, was not a part of the timeline shown in the cannon media. It is similar to Charabond and Paralbond.
Auxbond
Auxbond is a term similar to fucktive/fogtive and under the umbrella term anaspect. It is similar to anaspect in the sense that it is a more specific term for soulbond, gateway, spiritual, and non-medical systems to explain their introjection better without using the term. It is meant to be a blended term of Charabond and Factbond, but can also just be used as a standalone headmate modifier.
Charabond
Charabond is a term similar to fictive and can be used to replace the term fictive. It is under the umbrella term anaspect and is a term exclusive to soulbond, gateway, spiritual, and other non-medical systems. It is a term meaning a headmate looks like a character from a fictional media or may have a fictional counterpart, but they are not medically introjected and come from another location/universe than this one. Charabond can also replace the term 'fictional counterpart' for ease of typing and explanation.
Paralbond
Paralbond is a synonym of the known term Charabond, and under the same umbrella Anaspect. The term has the same definition as Charabond, meaning: The term is a replacement for the word 'Fictive' for non-medical/spiritual systems who may be uncomfortable with the term fictive due to whatever reason. This term can also be used for noncannon fictive soulbonds.
Factbond
Factbond is a term that replaces the term factive and is under the umbrella term anaspect. It is a term for spiritual/non-medical systems meaning that said headmate using the modifier looks like a person from real life but is not medically introjected, and instead comes from another place/location/universe.
Soulbond
A soulbond is, broadly, a member of a system or a presence in someone's mind that is a fictional character in some way. [Commonly referred to as a 'Walk-In']
Repbond
Repbond is a term under the Anaspect umbrella, as well as a more in depth version of the terms Charabond and Paralbond. The term itself replaces the term OCtive for spiritual systems who are uncomfortable with the term or simply want a more defining word for their Anaspection. Repbond means a headmate is anaspected from an 'OC' (Original Character) somebody has made, whether sourced from media or simply created on their own.
Duxima
Duxima (or Duxitanima) refers to a headmate who is Duximagenic as a replacement for brain-made, non-fictive, etc. This means that the duxima is not sourced like a fictive or charabond, for example.
While this term is not exclusively for soulbonds, it is made for spiritual systems like soulbond systems.
Fecitanima
Fecitanima refers to a headmate who is a created soulbond, meaning their soul was created, or at least partially created. This term is made to be a soulbond alternative/replacement for Willogenic and other terms for created headmates.
This term is not exclusive to soulbonds, it is made for spiritual systems as a whole.

what else should i know?

Soulbonds are different from fictives/factives.
Fictive/factive means "headmates based on a source" (quoted from Pluralpedia), while Soulbonds are said people from that 'source', or more accurately, universe.
Soulbonds, like any anaspects, are still people and should be treated as such.
-
Soulbonds and Tuplas are not the same thing.
Tuplas are explicitly created within the mind, while Soulbonds are souls from other universes latching onto or entering a system (either by want or by accident/random force).
